Remote · UK Full-time Posted 9h ago

About the role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer – Creative Editor based in United Kingdom.

This role offers end-to-end ownership of a core creative editing experience within an AI-powered advertising platform. You will shape how users create, edit, and export content across formats including ads, images, video, email, and display. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you will turn complex creative workflows into fast, intuitive, and high-quality experiences. Your work will directly influence product adoption, content generation, and export activity. You will have significant autonomy while contributing to a rapidly evolving design system and product direction. This is an execution-focused environment where experimentation, iteration, and user-centric thinking are highly valued.

Accountabilities

Own a core area of the editing platform from problem definition and concept exploration through final interface design and product launch.

Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define, prioritize, and rapidly ship features that improve content generation and export activity.

Design production-ready editing experiences that make creative workflows faster, simpler, and more intuitive.

Expand creation capabilities across multiple content formats, including advertising, images, video, email, and display.

Design AI-powered editing workflows that are clear, useful, trustworthy, and capable of enhancing users’ creative output.

Collaborate closely with engineers throughout implementation, reviewing builds and refining designs to ensure the intended quality and experience are delivered.

Conduct user research to identify meaningful problems, validate solutions, and continuously improve usability and clarity.

Use and contribute to the design system, helping evolve reusable patterns, components, and foundational design principles as the product scales.

Balance strategic product thinking with hands-on execution, using rapid experimentation and iteration to learn from real-world usage.

Continuously optimize the workflow from initial creative idea through completed asset, with a strong focus on speed, usability, and measurable product impact.

Requirements

5+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within SaaS or complex workflow-driven creation and editing tools.

A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design thinking, particularly around creation workflows, speed, usability, and measurable user impact.

A builder mindset and strong interest in developing tools that help people create high-quality content more efficiently.

Excellent interaction and visual design skills, with the ability to make sophisticated creative tools feel powerful while remaining simple and intuitive.

Proven ability to work autonomously, exercise strong product judgment, and identify opportunities to improve key user behaviors without excessive reliance on research cycles.

Comfortable working through rapid iterations, testing ideas, learning from usage, and refining features quickly.

Strong experience collaborating with engineers and operating effectively within fast-moving product and development teams.

Highly proficient in Figma, using it confidently for exploration, communication, prototyping, and design-system development.

Curiosity about AI and experience or strong interest in designing products and workflows powered by AI.

Strong workflow-thinking skills, with the ability to understand how users move from an initial idea to a finished creative asset.

Comfortable prioritizing execution and learning speed while maintaining a high standard for product quality.

Ability to take full ownership of a product area rather than focusing solely on individual screens or isolated design tasks.

Must be based in Europe, with the role structured for remote work from your home country.

Benefits

25 days of paid time off plus public holidays, with a flexible time-off approach.

Health insurance or private medical coverage.

Monthly stipend supporting wellness, fitness, and learning and development.

Remote work from anywhere within your home country.

Enhanced parental leave covering birth, adoption, and surrogacy.

Flexible working hours.

Access to an office in The Shard, London for eligible UK-based employees.

Opportunity to work on AI-powered creative technology at the intersection of product design, advertising, and content creation.

High level of ownership and autonomy over a core product experience.

Collaborative environment with close interaction across Product, Engineering, and Design.
